My name is Ava "The Pink Dragon" Hemmer. I am from Missouri and have been practicing martial arts since I was six years old after watching Kung Fu Panda. I enjoy competing on the ProMac and NASKA circuits where I rank first in the nation in more than five events. Karate is my therapy, and a place where I can focus and test my abilities. I enjoy teaching younger kids and love to see them become more confident and strong as their skills grow. My favorite weapons are Kamas but I also enjoy Bo, and am looking forward to learning Eku.
